About

jack-collinsHello,

My name is Jack Collins.

I practice and teach a highly effective form of deep corrective bodywork called Human Truth Bodywork.

I use a variety of bodywork techniques applied with a mix of intuition and science.  The two primary objectives of my practice are to first identify the precise nature of the problem, and then to return the body to its prior, more functional state. As a long time athlete, I have experienced my own share of injuries and training setbacks, so I definitely understand what it is to be in need of help with these problems.

People who may benefit from this treatment would include; those with nearly any kind of new or chronic pain, “bad back”, carpal tunnel, whiplash, unrelenting tightness or stiffness, Pain with exercise and yoga “arthritis”, post-surgical problems, leg length issues, tight hips, plantar fasciitis, injuries that never got quite all the way better, new problems, and other issues as well.

I spent 14 years total working in hospital therapy units, out-patient therapy clinics, and other medical settings. I learned about a great many different injuries, problems, and forms of illness and the effect they have on the human body. I also learned many effective techniques for correcting and healing these issues from practitioners of several different healthcare disciplines, each with years of education and hands on experience.

Later I graduated the Loving Hands Institute of Healing Arts in northern California. Here I was trained in several massage therapy modalities from Europe, China, Native American, and Central American disciplines. Following, I received my teacher training from the founder Rev. Skyhawk.

I opened my own private practice in January 2007.

This combined experience in both clinical and holistic medicine has enabled me to create my own blend of highly effective therapeutic methods. In my practice, I am passionate about helping my clients understand what is happening with their bodies in easy to understand language. My clients also enjoy learning better ways to care for themselves in the future.

The techniques I utilize include Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Acupressure, and Myofascial release, acupressure, MET, and Mayan methods. Every treatment is specific to the needs of each individual client. The work provides nearly immediate and frequently long term relief of many chronic or new problems.

If you, or someone you know, has been dealing with a problem, pain, or limitation, and want to see improvement, It may be time to experience this treatment option. For appointments or further information, call me at 707-499-8710, or email me.

Peace, wellness, and good fortune to us all.
